Mapping it out

Tuesday, September 11, 2012

What better day to feature a great USA project than on a day full of reflection and remembering. I spied this fun activity over at Seleta's and thought this was such a creative tool to help our 'visual learners' to learn the states of our great country.

This free large size printable can be downloaded, printed and mounted to cardboard.{I wonder if you couldn't also mount it to thin cork or magnetic sheets?!} After it's cut out, it, becomes a great puzzle.

The little flags allow the whole family to mark their special places--birthtowns, vacation spots, places yet to discover.

I love the colors and the little 'stitching' details. Wouldn't this be great simply framed and hung on the wall of a nursery or playroom??!  Download it here and let me know how you plan to use it!
