After leaving a clients home in Franklin yesterday, I stopped by the Teen Challenge of the Smokies Thrift Store.

For my local folks, It's right on the highway--US 441 on the Jackson County/Macon County line, right outside Dillsboro.
The back room is chocked full of some great deals that were just donated.
These solid wood mirrors would be great painted a fun color. $20 dol-lus, ya'll !!
They also have a few framed prints. {Actually more than I am showing!}
I would ditch the artwork and mats, paint the frames and reuse. Or consider cutting a thin piece of smooth wood to size and paint it with chalkboard paint. Or, how about putting a piece of cork in the frame for a large framed corkboard! Frames are priced $5 and $10 !!
And if the great prices aren't enough to entice you, how about the fact that all income from the non-profit store goes to support the needs of the 'students' who are caught up in the addictions of drugs, alcohol, depression, eating disorders, victims of sexual abuse, etc. The funds go toward the Teen Challenge Home where the students live while completing the 1 year program. So, you get a great deal and they continue the great mentorship!! If you want to donate or to find out more information about the program, visit here.
**If you buy one, send me pics of what you do with yours!!
