Our leaves have been at peak this week. Driving has become wonderful and dangerous all at once! I strain to absorb all of the shades of golds and reds and oranges that sweep over the distant mountain ranges while at the same time trying to keep the car on the road. It's not easy, ya'll! With rain and winds, we only have a very few days where the trees are covered in their beautiful rich leaves, so I have been visiting favorite spots this week that offer incredible inspiration.

Whiteside Mountain, Cashiers

Whiteside Mountain, Cashiers

Bear Lake, Tuckaseegee

Bear Lake Reserve - Tucked off the road at the tip top of the mountain, a great little covered campfire spot

Lonesome Valley, Cashiers

Cherokee

The coolest floor made out of cut wood 4x4's.
and because it's Friday....

Oskar Blues Brewery, Brevard, NC
No, this isn't a backdrop for one of my mountain designed weddings
{although.....}
I'm guessing the conversation was like---'we have all of these empty cans, and a ton of mardi gras beads...we love to recycle...let's make a prom arch over the stairs that leads from the Brewery up to the Tap Room!!!' boom. done. awesome.
Oskar Blues Brewery is a huge Brewery in Brevard. They host tours, music events and craft some great beers. Check them out!
Have a great weekend!
