a few weeks ago the GC house looked like this...

but now we are rocking along

{I know, I know-- horrible iphone pics-and it's being lit by work lights. no CO=no electricity}
I love watching craftsmen work! Although I am pretty sure they think I am a bit of a stalker--we have a wee bit of a language barrier so they probably wander why I am always staring at them and taking their pictures. But seriously..I love to watch all of my subs work--the painters, the tile installers, the carpenters...there is so much to learn from the techniques of great subs!

We are moving on up {the ladder} and rolling along in the library. Still need to install swing arm sconces and chandelier, add cushions, stain the floors and add a million and one books. But we are getting closer!

The closets have all been customized to the owners needs.
One of our subs customized the closets {above}, and pantries {yes plural!} as well as the library. There is also built-in storage in the garage and in the guestroom. There is sooo much storage in this house! A way to save money when building custom closets is to get one of your subs to build it as opposed to a custom closet company. This particular job was one-third of what a closet company wanted to charge.
Let's browse through some other very smart, reasonable and beautiful storage solutions.
