Happy Monday! Unbeknownst to me, my domain expired over the weekend {s#*t!!!} which meant this here blog was flying up in the virtual clouds inaccessible by no one. At least I hoped it was still out there....It also meant I had no email since they are both hosted in the same place. If you are a blogger and have ever lost your ability to access your blog, you know what a sickening feeling of dread you suffer.
Thank you to all the kind folks who contacted me and said 'What the heck's going on?? You have disappeared!' It took a bit, but I'm now back. Grateful!

I have lots of clients that are very traditional in their design taste. They own lots of antiques, family heirlooms and sentimental artwork that have been in their families for decades. And they want to use as many as these pieces as possible when redecorating. It be quite a challenge to use these pieces and create a fresh, new updated look.

Designer Erin Glennon takes on this approach beautifully. This South Carolina gal uses traditional pieces but incorporates contemporary accessories and pops of colo to create beautiful, livable spaces. She has a great portfolio, but her bedrooms are my favorite.

Beautiful, right? Just goes to show that traditional pieces can be quite timeless when partnered with updated linens, and fresh color.
