I love working on remodels. Stripping out the old and bringing in the new. Entire house remodels are
BIG projects. They involve a ton of site visits. And not only visits, but a lot of phone calls and emails as
well. In order to create a home for a family that functions {specifically for that family} just as beautifully
as it looks, takes a lot of 'getting to know you time'. It's always such an honor to be included in such an
intimate part of a families life.
I actually lived most of my childhood thru high school, in a home my parents built in the 70's. But, I
rarely ever today walk into a home built in the 60's or 70's and think 'This is it!! I would really like to live
in this house!' {No offense to those whose home was built during these decades, these just aren't my
personal favorite home building decades}. But, if you want to see my heart strings pulled, then put me
in front of a turn-of-the-century home. I have been lucky enough to own and remodel a few of these
gems.
So Shannon where are you going with this...
Well, I am currently working on a home that I was hired to remodel. The sweet clients just purchased
this home {The couple inherited the 'befores'-- they are not responsible for them!!} The home was built
in the late 60's. And I'll let you in on a little secret....
*** If I had found it first, I may have bid against them..shhhh ***

I'm not sure what it is, but I am really liking this house. I am exploding with its possibilities. This is 1 of
the 2 McHuge sized fireplaces.

We're removing this wall.

There are wonderful soaring ceilings and beautiful natural light, due to a great number of windows.

Fireplace off of the kitchen.

And speaking of kitchens, please say 'Hello' and 'Goodbye' to this lovely...
Master Bath... yellow sink, yellow toilet...hhmmmm..

not one to be outdone, please meet Mr. Yellow-Sunken-Shower-Tub

and his sweet brother down the hall--Mr. Blue Guest Bath
Hope you've enjoyed my sneak peak at this little gem....I'm loving where we are going with this house!
