We are lucky to have a nice big covered front porch on our casa. But, the downside is, that big covered porch makes for a dark foyer. Our home faces north so the sun never gets a chance to filter into the front of the house. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a set of entry closet doors. The lack of light has always bugged me, but just recently I have played around with the idea of adding mirrors to the coat closet doors to bounce back the light from the front door sidelights.
