I appreciate all of your comments and emails over the last week. We have moved Robert's father into a home and there has been much time spent with him as well as our sweet family. Time is a gift, isn't it?

I have spent very little time in the design world this past week, but over the weekend I discovered a designer, Beth Keim {a North Carolina designer!} who has meticulous taste and a delightful blog. I have devoured her posts and thought I would share my favorite rooms by the talented gals of her design studio, Lucy and Company.

My very favorite rooms in their portfolio are their whimsical kids room. They layer the patterns and embrace quirky alcoves and angled ceilings. All while creating spaces that aren't cutesy or childish. I can't tell if their rooms are for a 3 year old or a 15 year old, and I think that's kinda awesome.

Who would have thought to use 2 wallpapers--both extremely graphic, side by side?! And the bubble chair is kind of fabulous.
{although I might be able to figure out the occupant's age in the room below :)
