John Jacob is an aussie interior designer whose designs are packed full of precision, repetition, rhythm and order. Every spot is utilized and every square inch is considered.

This particular house {which happens to be my favorite in his portfolio}, is the home of Peter Herrmann, CEO of Hertex Fabrics. Almost all of the illustrative pieces of art were done by Herrmann's wife.

There are layers of details including precise lighting, mirrors and mirror images.





John has described himself as being 'negative-space phobic'. I describe JJ as being real easy on the eyes.
