I'm working on a project that will be installed in late summer. I want to incorporate some large papermache flowers of some sort. My inspiration comes from the fabulous work of Stray Dog Designs.

And you may remember this flower floor lamp that I used {from Stray Dog Designs} in the showhouse. It came painted in one solid color, but I repainted it with several colors to live a little happier in this space.

These pieces are not inexpensive because they are handmade. I have always been intrigued with trying my hand at making them myself. Just yesterday, I was putting together my inspiration board for the summer project and again found myself trying to work out how I would attempt to recreate these. Imagine my excitement when I found this post on Design Sponge this morning!!

How beautiful are these?! {and don't get me started on that dress!}
They have a fabulous tutorial from Ruche on how to make these and now I am even more antsy to give these a go! Wouldn't these be gorgeous for a bridal shower, or a sweet little girls dance recital or in a nursery....so many possibilities!
