I had a fun DIY that I wanted to tackle over the weekend. I saw these pretty pumpkins over at Terrain that they decorated with ferns and mod podge {2 of my favorite things}.  

I asked Robert to grab me a couple of pumpkins when he went to the store yesterday so that I could give this a try. 

But, believe it or not, they were sold out {??} so, he stopped by the produce stand close to our house and they were packing up and closing down for the season {???) It was at this point that I decided to consult with my calendar and discovered that Thanksgiving is 3 weeks from Thursday !!!!?? What? When did this happen???

Anyhoo...all of her pumpkins were 1/2 off {happy face} and so he grabbed 4 for less than 10$. But, they were so beautiful, that I couldn't possibly mess with their loveliness. It would be like trying to tell baby Kiko to be cuter...

Yea, not possible...

So, I simply plopped them in my dough bowl and grabbed some leaves and a few lingering hydrangeas from my yard.  

Sometimes we just need to leave good enough alone.
